SoftwareMile is part of the SoftwareMile family of software practices, operated by 360 Technology Group LLC. This policy explains, in plain language, what information this website collects, why, and what we do with it. It applies to softwaremile.com.

The Short Version
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising networks, or analytics profiling on this site. We do not sell your information. We do not run customer accounts or logins. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to send us through our contact form — and we use it to reply to you.
What We Collect
Information you send us. When you submit our contact form we receive what you type into it — typically your name, email address, and the details of your enquiry, along with any optional fields such as company, phone number, or project information. Nothing on that form is collected without you entering it.
Standard server records. Like virtually every website, our hosting keeps routine server logs (for example IP address, browser type, and pages requested). These are generated automatically by the web server, used only for security, abuse prevention, and diagnosing technical problems, and are not used to build a profile of you or combined with contact-form data for marketing.
What We Do Not Do
- No tracking or advertising cookies. This site does not set cookies to track you, profile you, or target advertising.
- No analytics profiling. We do not run third-party analytics or behavioural tracking scripts on this site.
- No customer accounts or logins. There is nothing for visitors to register for, so we hold no visitor passwords or account credentials.
- No payments. This site does not take payments, so we never receive card or bank details through it.
- No comments. Commenting is disabled site-wide, so no comment data is collected.
- No selling or renting data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any purpose.
One Third-Party Embed You Should Know About
Our contact page embeds a Google Map showing our office location. When that map loads, Google receives the request and may set its own cookies or collect technical data such as your IP address, under Google’s privacy policy rather than ours. We mention it because we would rather be complete than claim the site has zero third-party contact. It is the only such embed on the site, and it appears on the contact page only.
How We Use What You Send
We use contact-form information to respond to your enquiry, discuss your requirements, and follow up on a conversation you started. That is the whole purpose. We do not add you to a marketing list because you contacted us.
Form submissions are delivered to us by email through our mail provider. If your enquiry is better handled by one of our sister practices — for example a building-automation question that belongs with SoftwarePile, or an AI question that belongs with Software Depo — we may pass it to the right team within the same company so you get a competent answer. We will not pass it outside the company without your agreement.
Who Else Sees It
Only the people who need to: our own team, and the service providers that make the site and our email work — principally our web host and our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf in order to deliver their service, not for their own marketing. We may also disclose information if we are legally required to.
How Long We Keep It
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is useful to the working relationship or as long as we are required to for legitimate business and legal reasons, and then we dispose of it. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, ask us and we will do it.
Your Choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we will stop. Email info@softwaremile.com and say what you would like; we will not make it difficult.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal data under local law. Those rights apply regardless of what this page says, and we will honour them.
Security
The site is served over encrypted HTTPS, kept up to date, and protected by standard hardening measures. No system is perfectly secure, so we deliberately limit what we collect in the first place — the least risky data is the data you never held.
Children
This is a business-to-business site and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will remove it.
Changes
If we change how the site handles information — for example if we ever add analytics — we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will not quietly start collecting more than this page describes.
