Family Files don’t appear when prompted to load

Hi all,

I am fairly new to Revit, and I am having trouble loading families, though I don’t believe it’s due to user error.

Basically any time I prompt Revit to load a family, I navigate to the English-Imperial folder but it says “this folder is empty”. I can, however, follow the same exact file path in my file explorer and find every single family file that was installed with Revit. Thus far I’ve been able to just find the family I need via a search and open it up individually, but now I need to make a Sheet, and this method isn’t working for that. I have tried to copy the sheet template I want to my download folder, but even then it doesn’t show up in the load family dialogue box.

Any help is much appreciated.
